There are plans to build 94 houses and flats on Lower Wyburns Farm. This would mean potentially hundreds more cars using Daws Heath Road and worsening traffic on the Rayleigh Weir and A127. It would also increase stress on Rayleigh's already overburdened public services, such as schools and GPs. We want to fight these plans, but we need your help. Please keep reading for a step by step guide on how to participate.
A most impactful objection should contain how the development will affect you as a resident, but at the same time referencing fact based evidence. We accept this is not an easy task, we have therefore created guides and examples that will hopefully help you write your objection. They can be found by clicking the red buttons below:
Objection Evidence Guide Copy-Ready ExamplesOnce you know what you want to say, there are two possible ways to submit your objection.
• Rochford Development Portal - Clicking the green button below will take you there, where you can fill out the form with your details and comments, then submit.
• Object by email - Clicking the blue button below should create an email and pre-populate the recipient address with planning.applications@rochford.gov.uk and subject line referencing the application number 26/00538/FUL (you may be prompted to first choose which email app you use). Then you just need to write your objection and send. This option is useful if you want to include pictures, videos, or other documents as evidence. Be aware that the council states "anonymous representations cannot be accepted", so please include your name and address in the email, which will be published alongside your message.
Rochford Development Portal Email ObjectionIf you've already submitted an objection but think of more comments that you'd like to add, you are allowed to send in another objection. The council will collate all your communications into one. Objections can be made all the way up until the decision is made.
